# Enabling Location Services

There are two places where location services must be enabled for eTime to have access to your location. They are:

- The device's operating system
- The web browser's security and privacy settings

Below are pathways on various devices to location services

#### iOS

**Settings** &gt; **Privacy** &gt; **Location Services** - Ensure this is **On**, and portal.issny.org is given permission.

**Settings** &gt; **Safari** &gt; **Location** - Ensure this is set to **Ask** or **Allow**.

#### macOS

**System Preferences** &gt; **Security &amp; Privacy** &gt; **Location Services** - Ensure this is enabled, and the web browser you are using is given permission.

#### Safari

**Preferences** &gt; **Websites** &gt; **Location** - Ensure that portal.issny.org is set to **Ask** or **Allow**.

#### Chrome

**Preferences** &gt; **Privacy &amp; Security** &gt; **Site Settings** &gt; **Location** - Ensure that portal.issny.org is listed under Allow.
