Correcting a Shift

    shift
  1. can Navigatebe toreturned for corrections by either the timesheetcircle thatapprover needsor correction.

    There are three ways to navigate to a timesheet to make corrections:

    • Clickby the linkISS toPayroll department. In both cases, the timesheetsupport in the email notification you received.
    • Select the timesheet from the Take Action widget on your home page of the portal.
    • Select the timesheet from the My Timesheets page. (See the section, “Viewing Previous & Draft Timesheets” for instructions on how to get here.)

  2. Lines that were rejected will be highlighted in red.

  3. Click Details or Edit to view the rejection reason and comment.

  4. Make any necessary corrections to each rejected line. Click Save when done.

  5. Dates and times on Timesheet Live entries cannot be edited. If you need to correct the time on one of these, delete that row, and then click Add Time to add a replacement line with the corrected data.

  6. Click Submit to Circle.

  7. Add an optional comment. Then click Submit to Circle.

  8. All web approvers for the participantstaff will receive an email notification that therethey have time to correct. The shift will appear in the Shifts tab on the My Work page with a status of Returned by Circle or Returned by ISS

    A shift cannot be paid until corrections are made and the shift is resubmitted and approved.

    To correct a timesheetshift:

    1. Navigate to review.the My Work page.
    2. Select the shift from the Shifts tab.
      • Returned shifts will appear at the top of the list.
    3. Review the reason and description for the shift being returned and make any necessary changes.
    4. Click Submit to resubmit the shift for approval.
