Recording time for a shared shift

Creating a shared shift

Creating a shared shift is very similar to creating a regular shift except that when appropriate, this allows you to have more than one person toon thisthe same shift.

To create a shared shift, 

  1. Navigate to eTime by clicking on "Open eTime" onFrom the home page.
    • On mobile, eTime will automatically open after login.
    • You can alsopage, click on Start Group Shift on the home page.
  2. Tap Start Group Shiftor on eTime homeLive, pageselect the icon with two people to start a shared shift.
  3. Select the participants (employers)in that shift
    • Only participants that have a shared job between them.
      • Youthem can onlybe startselected together.
      • Once a participant is selected, participants who do not have a shared shiftjob ifwith youthe selectselected 2participants orwill morebe participants.grayed out. 
    • Select the shared job from the list.
      • The shared jobs listed on this screen, are the only jobs available for the combination of the selected participants.
    • If the selected job and method are EVV Required, select a start location for each participant.
        • If this is the shift is taking place at one of the participantsparticipants' in the shift,home, select home for that participant and locationcommunity for everyone elseelse.
        • If the participants are siblings or live in the same household, you can select home for all of them
        • If selecting Home, eTime will ask to use your location in order to verify that you are within an approved distance from the participant's service address. Click Allow.
        • If you are not within the approved distance from the service address, eTime will ask you to specify an address.
  4. Review the selections made. Click Add to finish starting the shift.

Edit a Shift

  1. From eTime Live, navigate to and select the running shared shift.
  2. Fill in all required information.information for each participant.
    • Activities are required for ComHabCOMHAB and SEMP (Job Coach and Job Developer) jobs.jobs and these are added separately for each participant. 
    • Activities are not required when submitting Time Off.
    • Adding a meeting, training, or other event? See Adding Eventsevent to aone Shift.of the participants, will apply the same to all other participants in the shift.
  3. To request an override to the start time or end time, the shift must be ended. After ending the shift, click Change on the Final Review screen. Learn more about EVV Override Requests.

Submit a Shift

Shifts are submitted for approval on an individual basis.

  1. Navigate toFrom the shifthomepage, onuse the Mygreen Work"End page,Shift" ORbutton, or when viewing the shift in eTime Live, click the End Shift button
  2. Verify all information is completed and correct for the shift.
    • If the shift overlaps with one or more shifts that have already been submitted, you must resolved this overlap prior to submitting. Click Resolve Overlap to resolve the overlap.
  3. If the selected job and method are EVV Required, select a end location.location for each participant.
  4. Click Submit.
  5. Add an optional comment. Then click Submit for Approval.
  6. All web approvers for the participant will receive an email notification that there is a timesheet to review.
